it should not matter. Getting superior vigor from blue armor is normal.

It's a collector's item now, much like those purple items that used to drop with no modifier whatsoever on them.

as long as it says "of superior vigor" out to the side of it they are just stupid if they don't want it.

there is always a minute chance they wont be able to get it when expert salvaged but i would take the chance.

"I'm blue, da ba dee da ba dy..."

Did you recently salvage it? A while back, something like that could happen.
I still have a Superior Rune of Illusion Magic that looks like a minor.

I have a Superior Vigor with the skin/icon of a Minor Vigor. It was salvaged from the first gold item I ever got.

It gives +50 health though!

I wondered if it was really rare to have the minor skin on a sup.

I think if you have old runes or old monster salvage armours that house runes they will all be blue. That is if they dropped before the update to the text color of the runes.

I gave a guildmate a Sup Protection rune so he could do some UW. It was gold because I had it dropped to me a after the update. Later when I was learning to build a solo monk and was getting runes together he gave me an extra Sup Divine Favor. This rune had blue text. I asked him how long it had been in his inventory and he told me for quite a while (well before the update).

I find it so funny that people worry about the color one way or another. Your personal armour text doesn't show different once you apply the rune. I think it's probably just ignorance or fear of a possible scam that keeps people from buying older blue text superior runes.

There was an update that changed the colors of all the major and superior runes. Before this update, all salvaged runes were blue, no matter what kind.

A collector's item? That means it's worth MORE.

I wish it did. I also wish the chat screen used colored text for EVERY item referenced.

I also wish that colored text would function as a link so you could click the item and see it. Oh that would make trading so much easier!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a damn fine idea Carinae. You should put that one in the Sanitarium - maybe they could squeeze it into C2.

This doesnt have anything to do with the rune color but the armor color...Has anyone noticed how anyoying it is when you get Rare armor and you identify it to find a "Major Rune of Fast Casting".

You cant.

Gold Armor can only give Major and Sup Runes.

You might mean Major..whcih is right..it gives me all majors too mostly (and majors are worth less than their minor counterparts).

Uh, what is the issue here? A superior rune is a superior rune, is it not? I found a superior absorption rune last night, 100K value apparently, but it was gold. I immediately expert salvaged it to get the rune which I gave to my GW partner who has a warrior character (yes, darn, if I ever find another one I will sell it for the gold).

But what difference does it make if its blue, purple or gold? Can't you just expert salvage it and sell it? Why sell it before salvaging it?

the rune is the same... it's just that people are idiots.

and don't forget that people tend to be idiots...

if you now take into consideration that people are idiots...
well then you understand why those people don't want to buy a blue superior rune : they are idiots who just look for "bling bling gold colour".

i find it amusing how people act... in real life or ingame... the basic mechanics are the same ^^

next time try to sell it for 20% more since its a collectable... :-p

(in opposition to me, who would be rejoicing when getting a blue superior rune...)

I remember that update. I sold dozens of runes to the trader before it was applied.
They'd all be antiques now.
